Veronafiere celebrates the Global Exhibition Day 2020
This 3rd of June is an extra special day. The reopening of free travel across Italy after the Covid19 emergency happens on the day we are celebrating the Global Exhibition Day organized by UFI – Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
The Global Exhibition Day is an occasion to remember how trade shows are key in developing businesses, networks, and communities. Exhibitions will be crucial in rebuilding what the coronavirus took from us.
“Rebuilding a new normal pass by deeper attention to the environment, health, and social sustainability. We are and we will always be a company with a human face” Mr. Maurizio Danese President of the board at Veronafiere says.
“As Veronafiere we are watching the future with optimism searching for the right balance between physical and digital events to find the best way to do business” adds Mr. Giovanni Mantovani General Director at Veronafiere.
Exhibitions are the best way to reconnect business with €251 bn in sales generated and the connection of 300mln operators around the world. They are a great asset to companies that decide to take part in this kind of event: for each €1 spent, ROI for exhibitors is €2 during the event and €8 after.
Veronafiere has 122-year experience in this strategic business sector organizing more than 70 events per year, 30 percent of them outside Italy. Over 1mn operators visit the fairground in Verona, an activity that generates €1bn among related sectors.
